I'm a Cincinnati, Ohio native living in Brooklyn, New York, with my wife and crazy cat. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and a minor in International Business. After spending a few weeks thinking over what to do with my career, hearing advice from advisors and mentors, and looking over local job opportunities, I finally decided to take a practical approach. I sold all of my furniture, packed up my car, and moved to California.

Since then, I've held various communications roles throughout my career, most of them focused on public relations. I’ve been a communications manager for a global ticketing company (StubHub), a grant writer for a non-profit (Americorps), a campaign manager for a mayoral candidate in Santa Cruz, California, and the head of public relations for a scrappy travel tech startup in New York (TourRadar - my current role).

My interests outside of work revolve around sports and beer. I play soccer regularly and like to get out to run, bike, and hike as often as I can. I've had a local beer in 41 out of 50 US states + Washington DC, India, Thailand, and all over Europe. My wife and I have recently gotten into home brewing and we brew a batch about once every other month.
